Putting Thoughts into Words

Putting thoughts into words seems to be quite easy – something we do each and every day. We wrap up our thoughts in certain verbal form regularly, some of us are especially fond of this process which contributes to our highly developed skills in this area. On the one hand, this process scarcely prompts any difficulties, especially when a person's communicative experience is profound enough.
However, what about putting your thoughts to words in written form? It can be truly difficult, especially if one makes an attempt to write something worthy without having special talent to lead words by their noses.
Creating words out of your thoughts in professional written form is true art, it requires special gift, talent which is inborn and i.e. can't be developed – if we take into account true literary masterpieces that is.
Putting your thoughts into words on paper implies a person's ability to operate many different literary devices and techniques. Of course, one can learn all about these devices and try to make the best of this knowledge without having any special literary gift in the area but only the person who is truly talented regarding winding words round his fingers is able to intuitively feel and use all the literary techniques and i.e. can work wonders with putting his thoughts into words.
As you can see mere routine of everyday speaking differs from the art of putting one's thoughts into words on paper. There's a theory which says that talented writers are typically not too good at the art of making impressive speeches; and vice versa – the ones who are good orators are typically poor writers.
